Peruvian Sows Sows are still very important to a stud, afterall you can't have babies without boys and girls! I currently have 10 breeding peruvian sows, along with several retired girls and a few up-and-comers :) Isolde is a second generation Heritage baby, out of Georgie and Gawain, Eleri is out of Ava and Stacey's Mr Persuasion (Percy). Indian Summer, Hope and Queen of Sheba are both from Joan Phillips, and Johanna is from Tracy @ Sunnycott Stud. Mae is from David Page. Mustang Sally has made the journey down from Lynn Stacey in Durham, along with Martha (Skye Peruvians) and a sow from Singing Cavy Stud. Sows from Julie White will be arriving shortly, as will Pip from Tufty Cavies in Kent - she is out of Heritage Ischia (Solly) the daughter of Sunnycott Dulux and Stacey's Firefly. Fizzywizz Flame is a lunkarya, and will hopefully be the start of our lunk lines. |
